The next generation technology BLUE RAY DISKS-All the leading manufacturers are heading towards blue ray disks which offers more than five times the capacity of normal DVDs...the storage capacity is 25GB on single layer and 50GB on dual layer..it enables reading,writing,re-writing and playback of high definition(hd) video.The tradtional disks like cd,vcd,floppy disks uses the RED LASER technology but the BLUE RAY DISKS uses BLUE VIOLET RAY instead.The BV-laser shorter wave length than RED laser.
